I carnt remeber why i was looking for “bug” related items from Cleanyourcar.co.uk, but it did list a few of the claying options you can do to your car. I havent really looked into it, but its not something i will be doing for a while. It takes a few hours just to apply the Zaino Z5 and Zaino Z8, once i have shampoo the car with the Meguiars Shampoo Plus. I was looking at the Mequiars Bug and Tar Remover, wondering if it will get rid of the bar marks on the wing mirrors since the Karcher 2.14 Preasure Washer didnt get rid of them. The Karcher was perfect at getting rid of the bird crap on the roof, as well as the dead bugs on the front of the car, near the bumper.

I am finding that the Z5 and Z8 does make the car really water repellant, but im still putting way to much on the car! Which will mean i will need to buy some more sooner then i should really. I think its mostly because i apply it each time after i wash. But i am thinking of getting the Zaino Z6 gloss enhancer spray to make hopefully make it stand out loads more. I think its mostly due to the fact its a bright red car that it doesnt work as well. If any place would of had the ZFX kit instock i would of allready had the Z6 allready. I think the only major issue is that Z5 and Z8 cost like £20 a bottle which is the only major problem.

I was looking for a different applicator pad, since the Zaino 100% cotton applicator pad works well. But i think it mostly soaks up way to much of the Z5 solution instead of spreading it over the car area you are trying to Polish. Saying that if i got one of the sponges like the Zaino – 6 or the Sonus SFX which are duel sided for multiple uses. I have been looking at other methods, one is the Hex-logic pads by Chemical Guys but theres allways more to something then you really think. Like the Sonus Foam applicators or the Meguiars Soft Foam pad.

I am also looking at the Snow Foam Lance’s, which was the major reason i bought the Karcher Preasure Washer. “A foam lance? Why are they useful? At the simplest level, a foam lance is any device that attaches to a pressure washer and mixes a shampoo-based product with the flow of water to produce thick clinging foam.”

After looking through a few different websites, you can either buy a Gilmour Foamaster II Pro Foam Gun which connects to a Hose pipe directly, but it mostly just foams and doesnt do the same job as a Snow Foam Lance. Its a lot weaker due to the fact it doesnt put out a lot of preasure. Its a simlar price point at £51.07 with 1 Litre of Snow Foam. You can buy the Snow Foam Lances in a 500ml or a 1Liter version, they are usually called Heavy Duty Foam Lance and come with 6 different types of connectors, for different types of preasure washers e.g. Bosch, Karcher, Karcher HDS Pro, Kew/Alto, Kranzle, Lavour. EDP currently sell it for £49.95 with a 1 Liter of Snow Foam, but all the companys usually will give 1 Litre of Snow Foam Free. They never really tell you what type you will receive. ECC offers it for £51.08,
Theres a top mounted dial, that allows you to adjust the range of the dilution, allowing you to tune the level of the foam produced.
A few places recommend Meguiars Hyper Wash to be used with the Lances, but its mixed opions really.

Theres Meguiars Ultimate Protectant (Dash & Trim Restorer) which prity much would of been usefull for the Astra since it had plastic on the outside of the car, where as the Cupra only really has plastic near the exhaust at the back. The inside of the car, has a few different bit of black plastic, but at the moment there not worth buying this stuff.

I was looking at Meguiars Ultimate Compound, and Meguiars ScratchX 2.0 for removeing a few fine scratchs, that where made by the T-Cut i used near the door handles, and at the bottom of the door trim. Im going to try it on the  bottom door trim first, to see what its like. I was thinking of getting both of them, but i dont think the Compound will do what i think it will. The scratch above the passenger side back wheel carnt be fixed, without respraying the panel. But i can use the ScratchX to do a few of the minor scratchs that have appeared near the front of the car. Its worth a try, since they are showing up as white marks and im slowly beliveing that the T-Cut is actually marking the paint work when i use it because its to abrasive!

Seat Cupra

I have been meaning to upload this picture i did before with a few different colours of the car :D
I really wanted it in orange, but since that colour died out. I had to go with red, but im not regretting it at all. It is a scratch magnet sometimes, but i do enjoy cleaning it !! Which is something i didnt really like to do when i had my Astra SXI. It wasnt due to the fact it was black or anything like that, it was just due to the fact that when ever i use to clean my Megane, and my Astra. It allways streaked, due to the way i did it.

Heres a picture i mean, with the Yellow, Red and Orange (Ill change it to a actual picture instead of a link sometime). But i found these while i was looking for some pictures [1] [2] to referance off, for my personel guide on how to wash my car and do the polish right so i dont forget. Ill admit the car is a Seat Leon Cupra, not a Seat Ibiza Cupra. But i wouldnt give a care in the world, if they where on my car as long as they didnt scratch it haha!!

I also came across a picture of my engine too! Which was weird, but heck it won the best overall engine of the year award!! Which i totally understand why!! Its fricking awsome!! I love the way it goes up in speed so quickly, i dont care that its not the fastest engine in the world, or the most powerfull. But for me personally it pisses off the petrol heads who try and race me at the traffic lights. It also lets me overtake anybody with conferdance. At the moment i have been nervouise with it going upto the 6000+ rev’s range, but since the car was made to be dummy proof it shouldnt cause any issues. Its a car i will never forget, it may not be a soft top. But i love it the way i loved all my cars that i have owned. Just this one i like it even more because its a lot better speed demon, but also it does everything i want. Maybe not everything in the future, because cars do become out of technology very fast like computers do. But i still have to see what its like in the snow too! My Astra had some issues, but im a little nervouise to see what my Cupra will do to handle it!

After a bit of in-sight from Mike on what to get, and how to do it on Cleaning Crap. Which he sent me in a email, im slowly looking around at the different things i can get, or what things i could use. I know im going to have to get something like Meguiars Shampoo Plus and a Sheepskin Wash Mitt. Which will cost me around £30 initially, £20 for the Shampoo which only needs 2-3 caps fulls or less, with the 2 Bucket Method. I have found about 2-3 websites giving different tip’s on how to do the 2 Bucket Method so far, its prity much the same method, but one website hints to use 2 Wash Mitts. “One that does the Roof, Glass, Bonnet, boot, doors leaving bottom 6 inches including sills, wings and rear quarters leaving bottom 6 inches, Remaining front end including bumper, remaining rear end including bumper and the remaining 6 inches around the vehicle using a separate lambswool wash mitt which is solely used for this purpose.”

www.theultimatefinish.co.uk – Washing Your Car Made Easy
www.detailingworld.co.uk – Two Bucket/Grit Guard Results
www.autopia-carcare.com – Detailing 101 Series – How To Wash Your Car

The major thing with the 2 Bucket method, is that you get a Grit Guard for the bottom of your Buckets, mainly the Rinse one. It helps remove the dirt from the Wash Mitt when you rub it against the Grit Guard, and leave it at the bottom of the bucket. If you put it in the Wash Bucket, you wont get the best results of it. Unless you have one in each Bucket, which will provide the best results.

I was recommend to buy from either www.i4detailing.co.uk, or www.cleanyourcar.co.uk. But i have seen 3 other websites in my search to find somewhere that has Zaino Z-8 Grand Finale Spray Seal in stock, as well as looking for different places who have Meguiars Shampoo Plus in stock.

www.theultimatefinish.co.uk has the Meguiars Shampoo Plus for £14.70, Sonus Ultimate Wool Wash Mitt £9.95 vs £7.95, or the Meguiar’s Lambswool Wash Mitt £9.95, Dodo Juice Captain Crevice Wheel Mitt £6.95, Meguiar’s Bug and Tar Remover – Gold Class £6.99, Meguiar’s Quik Wheel Detailer £6.99, Meguiar’s Ultimate Quik Wax £11.99, but doesn’t seem to sell the Zaino Z-8 which i didnt notice till i was allmost finished adding stuff to the Cart.

Cleaning Crap

The sooner you stop seeing car cleaning as a chore you really dont want to do the better, i used to hate doing it before i started using decent stuff, i quite enjoy it now. Accept that its not a 5 minute job.

Jetwash all the lose crud off the car first.

Wash it with One of these, hang it up to dry after use though and dont clean your wheels with it or it will rot (Just wring it out and hang it up in the shower to drip dry or something). Same as a sponge, only its kinder to your paint and you can get in the nooks and crannys better with it. Do not get one from Work, they suck!!

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/eurow-sheepskin-wash-mitt/prod_452.html

Some Shampoo, Its 20 quid yer, but you need 2-3 caps a bucket so itll last you the best part of a year, if not longer + its fantastic stuff, i will be buying some more of it soon. I know it might seem a lot, but work it out, its cheaper than that turtlewax shit we sell.

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/meguiars-shampoo-plus/prod_322.html

Get yourself a bucket to put shampoo in. 2 Buckets would be better, one full of shampoo and water, one full of clean water to dip your mitt into after washing a pannel to remove dirt on the washmitt, but it all depends how motivated you are to clean your car.

You will need a drying towel too ill give you one of my old ones, should still be good.

Id also get yourself one of those bright yellow JML mitts down near microwaves to do the wheels with. Once youve cleaned the car, just wash the wheels with the water you have left in the bucket.

Jetwash the car down again and dry it off.

Id say thats the minimum you need to get started. So 30 quid to start with.

Tyre gel if you want it………Make sure the tyres are dry, and clean, and dont re apply too soon or if theres still gel on the tyre or it will splatter, just apply a small amount to a cheap car sponge (I use those cheap pound ones from work that come with the 2 circular spponges and cut the big sponge up) and just rub it on the tyre.

IF youre feeling really adventurous lol, get yourself some spray sealant. Once the cars dry, just spray it on and buff it dry with a microfibre towel, need about 2 squirts a pannel, but it will help protect the paint and give a bit of bling, also makes the car easier to wash and dry next time round, very good stuff, i use it a lot, really its all you need only takes 10 mins to go round the full car.

Could also try using some of this stuff, if you have a spare 60 quid lying about for a foam lance and some snowfoam or citrus snowfoam that is. I only really use it on other peoples cars and during the winter though.

After finding out i scratched  my back wheel rim, trying to park up lastnight in hessle while reverseing. I had a look at a few companys to see if they can repair the scratchs, it didnt look so bad at first due to the rain and dirt. But after Gemma’s, Tony W leaveing do at the Weir Bar, i had another look and still didnt think it was to bad. Till i tuck it to my parents this morning and was thinking CRAP!

After the dismal attempt at getting the scratch repaired above the passenger side back wheel arch, from someone who does work for Vauxhalls and a few other places. He said he could buff it out, but thats what Dobo said in the first place since the compound didnt work. He didnt do anything, and then looked at my Dad’s.. He prity much said i would need to spray the panel which wasnt what i wanted to hear, specially when it costs £300 to spray it.

I went to The Paint & Body Shop near my dads work, after looking at a few different websites. I prity much came to the conclusion it was going to costs me £45 minuim to get the Alloy Wheel Rim fixed up. My dad said theres a place near Brookes Tiles, and the old Bus Station, near the 30 mph speed cameras. He said its where Dobo’s takes his bike wheels to get re-done, the only problem is the guy at the end of the road between the buildings is rather slow, and im incredibily impatient person haha.

I went into The Paint & Body Shop, the girl on the desk looked cute, nice voice. The guy who came out to have a look said the same thing, as the girl. £50 to start off with, but depends on the amount of damage. But when he tuck a look, he said nothing more then the basic to repair it up. I showed him the scratch, and he said he would give it a buff and polish for nothing, to see if that would get rid of the scratch! I was thinking AWSOME, for the £50 i could kill 2 birds with 1 stone haha..

Theres Smart Auto Repairs who are not in Hull, but are Mobile Repairs, there website does list that they would come to Hull. They also qoute on there website that they are 50% cheaper then the other competors.

ChipsAway Ltd which seems to be in Hull, but looks to be a bigger company who have employess in different parts of the Uk. So the main site tells you of the services, while the first link given from the website Scoot tells you of the services that they offer.

Paintwork Solutions in Hull, but since they are not really open on a saturday it wasnt a viable option to check them out, where as The Paint & Body Shop is open 8-12 on a saturday!

Paintwork Express i could find any prices, or when its actually open. So i didnt really bother checking them out, i would of thought the first thing you actually do is put up opening times at the least really.

Late for Kirstie’s Wedding, due to the Driffield Show :/.. I got to her old house thats near the little stream and old mill. I saw her getting into the posh grey ‘n’ black car.. She looked awsome, but i she went beforce i could turn around, and follow her. I mixed everything up, i thought they where going to the driffield show first, thats not what she meant. I carnt belive i was 20-30 mins late and missed it all, i waited outside.. and saw them coming out.. I just carnt belive how nice Kirstie looked though, she looks so happy with John.. I wish them the best for the future!.. I wish i had stayed longer at Ramada Jarvis, but i felt kinda weird being there, even though there nice people there!! I just didnt feel like i fitted in at all, i only really knew a few of them like Kirstie, her mum a little and saw her younger brother. So i really didnt have much to go on, plus looking a prat in a white shirt, and jeans because i didnt get chance to change my jeans to trousers and shows.. I felt a daft idiot.. Im feeling even worse since i got Kirstie’s txt asking where i went.. I really wish her the best in the future, i havent been a great person at all to her.. She has allways been a lovely person, and a good personality. Maybe not the brightest spark, but her heart was there when it counted, and she is so caring you wouldn’t belive it. But i wish them both the best for the future they will share together. It doesnt matter that i have a new car, i buy new things to take my mind of my current life.. When people come and go.. Im still thinking.. just still thinking..

Theres awfull lot of programs in the Master Collection, some i dont think i will ever use, and some i proberely will. But from 18GB to 9GB i think i will stick with the Core version untill a problem arises. Just to let it jog my memory the different programs included in the Master Collection, but there are 4 different suites you can get, as well as just buying the software singulare too. Theres Design Premuim, Web Premuim, and Production Premuim, as well as the Master Collection detials.

Adobe Creative Suite 5 Master Collection Multilingual ESD ISO CORE: Seems prity much the same the Non Multilingual, with maybe a few missing translations that i wouldnt use anyways :S

So now i only have 2 types of installtion saved, the Adobe Creative Suite 5 Master Collection ESD ISO CORE, and ADOBE.CREATIVE.SUITE.5.MASTER.COLLECTION.RETAIL.READNFO-ISO. The only major differences is that the Core version installs upto 9.4GB vs 18GB for the ReadNfo.. This is supose to be due to the following comment which i can understand.

  • Core release is trial from Adobe. Compressed download that works great if you don’t need Acrobat, extra languages, or extra content. Trial can become fully functional.
  • This release is first two discs of retail, it’s missing the Acrobat disc and extra content disc.
  • New torrent is out that has all four discs. Will probably be on newsgroups soon.

To get past the repeating license agreement are:
1. GO to your program files in Widows.
2. Click on Common files.
3. Click Adobe.
4. Click Adobe PCD.
5. Find the cache.db file.
6. Delete it.
7. Restart your computer.
8.  Click on your favorite CS5 program.  It should then work with no problem

Installation:
1-Install as AS A TRIAL (if you install the program with a key, it will mess it all up)
2-Double click “disable_activation.cmd” inside “crack” on DVD1
3-Open a program, using the serial generated by the keygen inside “crack” on DVD1 (entering this serial number in any adobe application works for all)

Those are 2 different methods to the installtion if you have a serouise issue, but there shouldnt be any issues if you read the Nfo that comes with both versions of the Adobe Installtions.

The following is included in the Master Collection:
Photoshop CS5 Extended
Illustrator CS5
InDesign CS5
Acrobat 9 Pro
Flash Catalyst CS5
Flash Professional CS5
Flash Builder 4
Dreamweaver CS5
Fireworks CS5
Contribute CS5
Adobe Premiere Pro CS5

After Sunday when i went to see my parents, and my mum brought up the idea of getting rid of my car. I had a look at VW to see if they had anymore information on the Polo GTI, but what really got me was the £18k they where wanting to charge you for it. The idea of £15k didnt seem that bad to me really, but its a whole different ball park at £18k, specially when i only paid around £16k for mine in the first place when i bought my Astra Sxi 1.6 with a lot of options :/

After reading through a few more reivews with the comments made me laugh, and reading a couple of forum posts. What stuck in my mind was Buying a Polo GTI is “an expensive way to buy an Ibiza cupra”, since it would seem there chargeing you for the GTI badge on the Polo, specially since after reading a review, that you wont find the Polo badge on the car, just the GTI. I do agree with one review, its not really a all powerfull car to be called a GTI, but the emphrases on “Pocket Rocket with 180HP 1.4-liter TSI” engine sure will turn a few heads. Just a real shame the interior on the seats, im not a great fan of the red tartan stitching :/. Plus for the £18k your not getting a lot of addons too, just the privilage of the GTI style lol!

I am actually thinking more along the lines of a Seat Ibiza with the 1.4 TSI, since the price for the Polo GTI is stupid to say the least, the estimate of £1800  more for a Polo GTI vs a Seat Ibiza Cupra, but then would you go for the Seat Ibiza Cupra or the new SeatIbiza Bocanegra with the black mouth and choice of colours only being metalic red and basic white colour finish.

www.autoexpress.co.uk [2], carscoop.blogspot.com, www.autocar.co.uk,
www.yellowwheels.com, www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk,

After watching and reading through a few novels for Gunsmith Cats and Riding Bean. I got to see a great perception of the American Muscle cars, driven from both a Male and Female driver perspective. Which lead me to finding out more about my favourite American car, the Ford Mustang, but the basic edition has nothing against the Shelby versions. The Shelby GT500 just looks so cool, and i have seen a few of them around Hull. From the red with white stripes, silver with blue or white stripes. It just looks so great, but none of them seem to be converted from Left hand drive, to Right.

When i last looked for the Polo GTI with a 1.4 TSI engine, i found a comment about a video for the Shelby GT500 2011 “Crushes Previous VIR Lap Time

Cutting nine seconds off the lap time of a car is huge. It’s the difference between running in the dry versus the wet for some cars, and it’s also the difference between the 2010 Shelby GT500 and the 2011 version with its new aluminum-block 5.4-liter supercharged V-8.

I just carnt seem to figure out when the Polo GTI will come out, because there has not been a lot of information on Volkswagen website, but more and more information and reviews on other website. The last time i checked the Volkswagen website, it gave a picture of the Polo GTI, but no real information on price or a way to Configure one yet!
I am hope the Polo GTI will come out at around £15,000 or simlair to the Polo Sel. I have noticed after reading through a few reviews that Volkswagen are releaseing the Polo GTI and a Polo Coupe which is supose to take a few design ideas from the Scirocco.

The main website where i found a cool Concept design for the Polo GTI, and gave a few different pictures of the interior so you could invision it better, titled “Volkswagen unveils ‘Wörthersee 09’ Polo and Golf GTI concepts“.

The concept Polo GTI features a 1.4L TSI (turbocharged and supercharged) engine with 86hp (63kW), but to make it really stand out designers have added a ‘Flash Red’ paint scheme with black racing stripes.
Other details include 18in ‘Budapest’ alloy wheels, blacked out grille and headlight surrounds, and a sports exhaust system. Inside, the sporty theme continues with black and red nappa leather seats, aluminum tread plates and red leather stitching for the brake handle, gearknob, steering wheel and door trim.

The Golf GTI concept, on the other hand, gets its own ‘Firespark Metallic’ paint scheme, black 19in alloy wheels and a set of distinctive smoked LED tail-lamps. When it comes to power, the concept features the same powerplant as the production Golf GTI, which means a 2.0L TSI engine with 210hp (155kW) on tap is nestled under its hood.
