I got asked by my mum for the New Leona Lewis album, and i couldnt find a picture of the CD, and im really bored with the plain cd covers, specially since nobody ever really uses the cd caseing anymore, they just put the cds in the car, or lose the cases anyway.
Well its a really long title, but in short. It just means that the creators of Ipod Video To Classic Look have done a new update, which is supose to stop lag and many other things too. For me, the major problem with changeing the firmware to the Classic look was that when you went to different menus there was a short lag. Also the other thing was that most of the names where cut down so i couldnt read them haha. Which was a major issue for me anyway, as i couldnt tell what half the songs where. I dont know if this will still be a issue with me, but meh i can redesign the new themes to how i want them, well kinda. I found a theme that was redesigned here [5G, 5.5G/ C] Black and Blue Makes a Classy Return (Now in 8 flavors!). Which shows the themes on show, i do admit i wasnt found of the orginal Black and Blue theme he did for the Ipod Video, and im not really found of these themes. But i like that he made a custom editor psd file, so i can manipulate a couple of his monochrome files and make a theme i like myself. Its like many things in life, if you find something that you dont like, but you have the tools to make it into something you do like. Then why not go ahead? So i thank him for makeing the themes and giveing the inspiration to others to make there own themes from his creations

Thats just me being slightly poetic in a weird kinda way lol, but todays been eventfull in the way, that i could finally get to Argos to get my dads birthday present for him, a Socket set, with spanners and a mixture of masonery drills for wood, metal and brick, with some other parts too.
I also got the car cleaned at the hand car wash near Burger King, Pc World which was allmost the usual, since it was rather quite the car got a better clean today, and the back finally looks cleaner instead of the semi good job it sometimes gets. But im happy it looks clean on the outside, just need to hover it out on the inside, but since my knee hurts still, i really didnt want to do it today, specially since when ever i got in and out of the car, my jeans rubbed against the grazed area and i really felt the small pain, which was soooo annoying.
I also phoned up Argos 3 times, one with the techniuqal help which ended real quick, but prior i did phone up the proper number but the queue was way to long, waited 10 mins. Then tried again after the lame techniqual help told me to phone the number i had tried prior, at which point they told me to take it back to the store, and they would send it for repairs. So my idea of getting a new ipod instead of my old one went up in smoke. But im going to the store on wednesday to try it in person, since im not getting it sent away since its worthless, they will either send it back to me broken or demand money to get it repaired. Which isnt right, since its not my fault the Ipod wont work, well it is, but its there fault for reduceing the price of it so quick. I have only had my 80gb black ipod 5.5gen for 3 months and the 6gen 80gb is like £100 cheaper, so i carnt even sell my old one to make up the difference since its stupidly cheaper. I know in reason theres a price reduction is the market fall, but this is daft and unfair. So im just getting my own back, i dont want it sent away for repairs!!! I want Argos Credit, Exchange or Refund damn it!! :/
The new 6th Gen Ipod look is now available for the 5th and 5.5th gen Ipods thanks to http://driven-design.net/, i noticed it at http://www.ipodhacks.com/ while i was looking for some Ipod Icons to use, since i want to do something different, instead of useing the Nano icon i have been useing for a while, plus looking to see if i can exchange my old 5.5th Gen Ipod for something new like the 6gen 80gb or 160gb on the Argos.co.uk website, since i bought it there, and its not been a year yet haha. Maybe get a 16gb Ipod Touch haha, but i highly daught it, so just looking at the themes again, since i tried changeing the themes last time and it didnt work at all, so ill try again and hopefully tweak some of the songs that had issues before, with crackling etc. I really needed to check them out, and hopefully update more with the music i listen to at the moment.
vs my older ones 
Just makeing notes on the type of features, and information that i want to use with the database lol. Its really got to beat my old program that i made, which isnt that hard to beat really. v1 was very basic and all user input, but then again so was v2. But with v2 i used another seperate program to manipulate the freedb.org music txt files into a format my program could read and add into the existing database without much effort or thought really. But that means you have 2 programs doing 1 programs job, but i really havent touched my media manager program in a long while, and with 2 days off a week. I still dont think i will be doing that much to it or even the music database. The only major concern will be the adding of files to the media manager, and to this. But with me outputting the information from foobar2000 since it can read tags really easy, without haveing to do extensive research into flac, mp3, mp4, ogg tag/file reading. I can use a free program to just give me the tags i need and run from there really lol. All i will need to do is output the information from foobar2000 and use it to make the database structure work. Which really isnt all that hard, since foobar2000 can output the codec type, bitrate, artist etc. The bitrate will make it easyer to check the quality of the songs and album, to really check if other albums that i have downloaded are worth keeping vs ones i have allready have downloaded.

Im still really undecided on which one to go for at the moment, i admit i wouldnt use the fm radio that much, or the voice recorder really since they are on my phone and i havent really used them at all lol. So its mainly the screen and video codecs which are the only thing to make the decideing factor, apart from the looks. Yeah the iPod has less colours to the screen, but it looks nice even though it only plays Aac or Mp4. But even though the Zen has Divx, Xvid, Wmv, Mpeg 1 and 2 video support, which would mean i wouldnt have to convert any of the video files at all that i would download. I still like the looks of the iPod, the only other point was what the picture interface looks like, if the iPod has a thumbnail view which it does. But the Zen has a folder to folder view, then shows the thumbnails once you are in the main folder, while the iPod names the folders and lets you go from there or just view the whole lot lol.
With Rockbox you could open up the iPod to Ogg and Flac audio format, and give the iPod many features which its lacking at the moment, but the screen is still worse then the Zen, and i would still have to convert all my media to mp4 before i could play it on my iPod, but with the Zen it has a daft dongle which has to be used all the time for chargeing it up, and doing many other nermouise things which seems rather pointless really.
I have been makeing and developing numeroiuse databases for programs, and files stored on CD’s for a while. I made a Music Database a long while ago that held vital information for sorting, searching and visualy showing what a album was like useing the Artist Title, CD Title, Date, Tracks, Length (minutes of the track) , Genre, CD Name (CD/Dvd of where it was stored), CD ID, and the CD Type (where it was downloaded/ripped e.g. Internet, Orginal, Tenerife). I Stopped with the updates of “Music Database v2″ due to Media Manager being a far better program, but still lacked the ability to take more important information like the Codec Type, Bitrate, CRC, or MD5 values which would be usefull.
Currently with the latest update to the Media Manager, and the use of XML as the database instead of txt files useing the special character as the delimiter to spilt the lines in the file to work out as seperate coloumns for the information. It should be far easyer to implement a search feature to scan specific feilds to get the information far more quickly and acurately for the music database. Also since its easyer for a directory structure within XML files, then txt files it will look better and match up with the directory structure of the music files within the folders. Also if information isnt provided like the Date, with XML it can be left out, and shouldnt cause a problem at all. Even though the Media Manger project was stopped a couple of months ago due to work. I am hopefully going to start it up again. I have been working on a program to read NewsLeecher files and rename downloaded files to there apropiate names. Due to Nintendo DS and PSP files haveing there names as the shortening, but useing the program to rename them to there full names so its easyer to know what they are. Since the short names are only 6-8 characters/letters. Which for a game, is allmost impossiable to know what the game is or called without more letters/characters to figure it out.
I have currently been working, on a couple of Music CD covers for Manic Street Preachers, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus for my friend Rob P, i also did a Take That album cover for my mums friend Sally. Its really cool working on Photoshop and changeing the CD Case cover into the CD Cover, because they look so much better then the CD Covers you get. Since most are just plan, with the logo or a bit of a fancy picture, but mostly just boreing really. But its also fun to make too, here they are
