The new iPhone 3G, i did the comment “Everything you ever wanted” but really, its not everything i ever wanted in a phone. The new sony, thats comeing out soon is a 8 megapixel camera, the Nokia N95 is a 5 megapixel camera. I dont get why Apple kept the 2 megapixel, i supose it keeps the phone cheaper, which people really hit it for. Since as soon as the iPhone went to £169 from £269 it didnt take much time for it to be sold out, so it proves the point at price. People really didnt warm to the fact that you had to pay a lot of money for it, then get stuck with a contract for 18 months. But while looking over the iPhone 3G its a better price then before, but now i think you really are stuck with the contract, where as before you could unlock it straight after you bought it and never have to sign up to the contract. But at least Apple is listening, since they made the SDK for the new 2.0 firmware so people can make there own programs, instead of haveing to hack the firmware. So there are future and endless posabilitys with the device, since the market is there and people that want it. People hacked the iPod to make it do what they wanted, now with the iPhone they can do what they want from the start. Thats if the SDK stays free, well the Beta versions at least. So who knows whats ahead, a lot of people are still pondering and wondering, why Apple hasnt included MMS, copy and paste, video recording at all? Makeing the phone still weaker then the competion. I have read comments with people saying about a physical keyboard?!? Are you for real, that aint ever going to happen i dont think lol. But MMS is widely used in Europe and the UK, but read somewhere that the USA doesnt really use it, but thats kinda unfair how they still dont include it? The copy and paste function sounds so daft, but when i first found it on the N73 i think. Either way on the N95 it was so easy, so awsome to have. Meaning you could copy someone else reply and tweak it or send it to other people easly. If you where writeing a note, or on a webpage you could copy parts and add them together. Makeing life so much easyer, specially since the N95 was promoted as phone to browse and see the internet, the iPhone is far better at webpages, but lacks the basic features. I think people will make programs to do the features we want, someone made Swirly MMS to help with the MMS problem we had, someone made a program to do video capture, even though he makes you pay for it :/

I print screened the current O2 contract offers, and searched a couple of old sites for the prevouise O2 contract offers for the iPhone. I thought the new offers where a lot better, but it would seem you get exactly the same as before. Just my blind sightedness was due to the fact theres 4 offers now instead of the 3, and that there is a £30 now instead of £35. I put the prevouise iPhone prices on for the 8GB and 16GB, so to compare the prevouise iPhone was a lot more expensive, specially if you work out that you only pay £99 at the most for the new 8GB model, and if you pay £45 you can get it for free. The only major gripe is that the txts dont go up with any of the contracts, only the minutes which at least double from £35-£75.
